rack & pinion???

I have 2 questions about the rack & pinion if anybody can help me. My wagons is going bad and I wanted to know if a sedans rack will work and also mine doesnt have power steering so would i be able to put one that has the system and not use it???

    Get a civic/CRX Si one. Better ratio.


    As far as the sedan, I have no idea but imagine it would. The front ends on 88-91 civics are pretty much identical.

    You can just loop the lines on the sedan one if you go that route. I'd still get a CRX/Civic Si one!

    A power steering rack won't fit unless you change the whole crossmember.

    All civic's use the same rack, I have a CRX si rack in my wagon, love it!

    Not if you get a manual rack, but you would if you get a power rack.

    Just swapped a new rack in my 91 2wd with ps. Jv, I'd listen to these guys tho, go crx all the way. If you need help changing it out pm me.
  • I have a B-series in my wagon. Anyone have a B in theirs that tried to take the rack and pinion out without dropping the crossmember?
