88 rt trans speed sensor replacement

Has anyone tackled this mine other trans deicded to have diff explode . My backup 8 trans speed sensor is broke off where the clip is needed to hold the cable in.

    Soak it with some good penetrating oil, try to twist it back and forth. It's probably corroded, but only down to the o-ring.
