I've lurked for years, and have wanted a wagon since about 2003. A buddy and I always joked about getting a wagon even though back then we thought they were ugly. He ended up getting an awd manual wagon from it's original owner last year and he stopped by. I fell in love w/them ever since. Until last week I could never find one in good shape, from it's original owner, in it's original form and for a fair price.

I guess someone was watching out because as I pulled into a subdivision and I saw a wagon. I knocked day after day and never got an answer at the door. I ended up leaving a note asking for the owner to call me. I finally got a call last week and he allowed me to check out the wagon and Monday I pick it up!!!! He wasn't planning to sell he said give me what I think it's worth you can have it. I made an offer he accepted and that was it. :encouragement:

Positives:
Original owner
Original condition
Very well maintained
Pretty straight body
Clean interior
AC
Perfect glass and never tinted (kind of my thing)

Negatives:
Sat for 2 years
Has mildew from sitting next to a bush and under tree's for 2 years
Slight dings in both fenders
He has misplaced the headrest but claims to have them some where in the attic

Claimed to be over heating but never driven after he noticed gauge was over halfway
I can not get it until another 2 days
