OBX LSD into wagon AWD tranny???

The AWD wagon transmission has the same FD (4.25) and gear ratios as the CRX/Civic Si L3 transmissions. But does anyone know if the differentials are interchangeable? Specifically, can I buy an OBX LSD for a CRX Si and put it in my wagon tranny?
Thanks.
Thanks.

And I thought the RT4wd tranny had a 4.43 final drive
1st gear 3.384
2nd gear 1.950
3rd gear 1.275
4th gear 0.941
5 speeds 0.783
Retreat 3.000
Reduction gear ratio Before 4.428 later 2.529
This is why my wagon is at 4100 rpm in 5th at 80 even with big tires.
Also found out as mentioned above the the diff is completely different. Apparently it uses two different FD gears:
I might have a chance to get a OBX LSD for teh above fairly cheap and if there is a remote chance of it fitting...
What's the beef? Is it just too physically big to do the job ??

Search for "intermediate"
Is he correct in saying that the end of the shafts which do into the box have a biggger diameter?
Anyone know what size they are on the EK Civic's because apparently they did get an intermediate shaft.
I'm not giving up tho. there must be a combination which will work without having to go for unequal lengths and without having to buy a Quafie for the L3 box
Even over here where we get the ZC L3 stock, LSD's are uber rare.
You don't need to pay JDM or Quafie prices .Read my LSD recommendation:

No, just NZ prices to get one shipped over here
Pacifer, I'm all yours
TBH, I'd rather thave a front one than a rear one.
If it's gonna fit then a quafie is totally awesome. I've driven them in a B16 CRX cable tranny, compared to the OEM JDM Y1 LSD and aftermarket clutch types.
The corner grip experience is out of this world. It's just un-natural as to what it can do.
How about a digital caliper?
Some day when I get time (RIGHT!) I'll did thru the American Honda Parts database to see what I find.......

no, I'm not giving out the ID/password, but they are the same.
seven letters
sorry, dual monitor mode, uncropped
cropped and not resized as much thru Photobucket
When through the UK parts database and found the code for the diff in the D16A9's box is a different part number.
Now that's not the be all and end all, but other Hondas like the ITR and the MB6 share the same diff and have the same part number
google FTW
I just access the database at the Troy Warehouse.

But you must think in Russian
Looked at converting the ISO like the Dutch guy had done a while back before Honda sent him a cease and decist letter or something. Funnily, he wasn't up for talking about it
What's Troy Warehouse ? Some outlet in the US I guess :?
damnit bone, how many forums are you on?!?!?
Honda's Parts facility in Troy, Ohio. I used to make daily runs there for a local dealership, used their TOYOTA pickup.
alot, but most I don't check everyday. I have 15 boards I check daily, this isn't one of them
