Pioneer Hillclimb 2011.

This was teh second running of this hill. It will be held annually the weekend after Labor Day. This year it was September 10th & 11th. Camera missed my runs for various reasons on the 10th, so this wasnt my fastest run, but it was the fastest I got recorded. The time on this vid was a 2:10.9xx. My fastest was a 2:10.5xx.

Think about this... this hill is 2.5 miles long, Bogus Basin, one of our local hills is 1.8 miles and my fastest time up there is a 2:14.xxx with this same exact car. This hill is extremely fucking fast. Anyone within reasonable distance from this hill should consider trying it. Lots of fun ;)

This is the car used, a 91 Si hatch built to ST specs. .020 over rebuilt motor, dc header, custom 2.25 exhaust, aem cai, koni yellows, gc coilovers, stock front sway, ST 19mm swaybar, and Falken Azenis 615 tires on Enkei rpf1 wheels.

Anyway, heres my vid, enjoy. turn the sound down, mic on cam is waay touchy.

Wow. This is definately an inspiration for me! What kind of rates are you running on the GC's?

    insurance is the biggest hurdle.

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to get a better setup for my Wagon. The Tokico blues and Tokico red springs have me and the Wagon rolling from side to side.

np man. didnt pick those rates, just what came with the used coilovers I bought. Ended up working out pretty good though.

i run higher rates in back with the wagon to compensate for the heavier assend.

Gotcha, I was thinking about 450F and 400R. Its just the Wagon is top heavy too. How long have you eben doing events like this?
