center console manual/auto

Does anyone know if the auto center console (around the shifter and ebrake) is the same as the manual? I have the auto console and I converted to manual, so wondering if i need a new console or if I can just buy the boot and use the auto?
And does anyone know what make/model or if its just ESDM that the console below the radio that has the ash tray and cigarette lighter is?

    I used my auto center console when I did my manual conversion, the shift boot screwed into the auto console too.

    Here is how it looks side by side; not from the same year though. Manual console on top is from a '88 and the Auto console on bottom is from I beileve a '90 or '91.

    The center screw holes and the rear tabs line up however you'll notice its a bit shorter. Not shown but the manual console is notched up front to clear the shift cable.

    Hey Chuck,

    THe 2WD Manual use the same transmission as the Sedans and CRXs/Hatches, they are shift linkage types.

    So, there is a difference between the 2WD manual console and the RT4WD manual console.

    Yeah i can see the auto one is shorter but im wondering if theres any difference in the cutout for the shifter. It doesn't really look like it and i flipped mine over today and i have 4 holes for screws im guessing thats for the boot. So they might be universal. Im going to order the boot this week so when i get it i'll update this as to whether or not it worked.

    Yes there is a difference between the linkage and cable trans.

    Just wanted to post the pic to show visual comparison.

    well my buddy at Honda called me today and told me the boot is Discontinued! I figured it would be, but i had it ordered and i guess came back a few days later that they didnt have it. So,looks like im gonna have to find something else or if anyone has a boot they want to sell hit me up!
