Holy crap! laughing so hard got a tear falling! wait... you mean to tell me there are douche bag "honda boys"??? tell me it ain't so?!?!?
this is the only forum I've been on where it isn't filled with tampon smoking, wish they had a set, ass monkeys.. this guy is the essential dick bag and I say "GOOD DAY!"
Stop crying about the market place. There's other resources. Im happy with the way my wagon is without the marketplace. 105 post still with no access... Don't need it. Still able to obtain hard to find parts bnib if you have the desire and commitment for your wagon. Keep your head up and stay positive.
I love this forum. It is infinitely better than ANY other forum I've been a part of. Thank you, mods, for helping to weed out the problematic users. You make this place more enjoyable. Yes, we've all been through the new user post count access delay process, and we've all learned to be patient. Otherwise I haven't found any flaws in this site or the way it's used or run. Other than the occasional crash and loss of some data, but that's no big deal, and not really much the mods can do about it.

PM Charb he will allow you access, the auto system doesnt always work.
But you are right, once people get access they realise there isnt anything in there they cant get elsewhere
I'd like to add my 2 cents in here. (tl;dr = this is the mod's board, they make the rules, play nice or GTFO)
I am an avid member of another forum without newbie post approval, and I don't know if it's the popularity of the car, or the fact that there's no 20 post rule, but the other forum seems to get a lot more activity than this one. The bulk of the community is made up of mature folks, it started that way, and most users keep the idiots in line/in check in addition to the mods cleaning up or flat-out deleting ridiculous posts. This also means banning spammers, etc.
That being said, I understand that this is the Admins/Moderator's forums, paid for and taken care of solely by the admins/mods. A lot of the time, it's a thankless job, they have to read a bunch of posts they probably don't care about, and decide if they add any value to the community. It probably would be easier if they randomly banned spammers or otherwise annoying/irritating people, but they chose this way of weeding out the idiots. It's a technique that gives the admins/mods a fine-grain control over n00bs. Because of that, I've found most of the people here to be the kind of people you actually want to talk to: They can write well and are a bit more mature and knowledgeable than your typical H-T user.
If you need parts now, go to eBay and use something like SearchTempest to scour craigs listings across the country. If you aren't an idiot and can learn a little patience, and want to be a member of a community, then stick it out
My only problem I encounter with the 20-post rule is that I can't go back and edit my posts after I've made them. I have to make sure I put all my info in on one post, I wish there was a way to edit the post before it gets approved. Oh well. It's only 20 posts, after all.

Disapproving a post takes 30secs, moving a post the the achive (no posts are deleted here) takes minutes.
Spam bots get caught and disapproved before they make a single post
Its also a good way of showing newbs that their idiotic posts without a single capital letter, full stop etc will not be tolerated.
However in saything that, it doesnt need to be perfect, just some effort needs to be put in so posts are actually able to be read. Internet browsers these days have spell check, there is no excuse.
In saying that, if a post is made in a tech thread that is well thought out and helpful but just one block of text I will approve it anyway but edit it to be read myself.

You can, if you use the "full editor" rather than the quick reply at the bottom of the screen, you can click "preview" to see what your post will look like before you submit.
Do this, make the changes you want, then press submit and one of us mods will approve it.
Wow! Do you need a hug? Are you ever going to be ok? I would hate to think that a mild mannered individual such as yourself would get mad over some dumb shit! Yeah it does a sec for the mods to quit living life for themselves to help us! I sent the mods an email days ago about my inability to add attachments... but you dont see me getting all butt hurt over it! It takes time hothead! I hope for your sake the rest of your life isnt so demanding lol!
