New

My name is gage and I am new to honda, and wagons. I currently have a 94 Civic hatch I am working on, in the middle of putting a z6 in it. I found this site due to my increasing desire of the wagovans. I found one on craigslist for 200 bucks, rust free completely gutted, no doors, hood, fenders, or rear suspension. I want to buy this because I am 18, and have a 4 month old baby, and it isnt exactly easy to load and unload carseats in a two door. Where could I find a rear suspension for it though? http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/3016071407.html

If you are looking for a car then get something that doesnt require sourcing everything for it. I would say suck it up, get your hatch fixed, wait for a better car to come around.

He's right, that's not much to start with. You would need another whole car for parts!

That is a good deal though, if it's straight.

Man.. Don't do it.... You will find out pretty soon that wagon parts can be a real pain to get a hold of.. I have bought whole spare cars to get parts.. Hoods and fenders and doors can be a real pain to locate..

Keep looking.. I see them listed out there on OK from time to time..

Use a Craigslist search tool.. Search more than just Tulsa..
  • :/. You guys say dont, guys on hoda-tech say do, its the only four door honda i like, i hate sedans, an i hate vans. I dont expect to have it done in a few monts. I want a nice project that will get my girlfriend interested in hondas, then when its all said and done we will have a nice grocery getter

Do what you want, but you are asking a WAGON forum about wagons and we know what it will take to get that back on the road. Having a skeleton of a wagon sitting will push your significant other away before bringing her in. If you want somebody to just tell you to go for it then stick to HT, if you want people to be realistic then listen to what we are telling you. Putting a wagon back together will cost you more in the long run then just waiting.

The people telling you to get it are probably the same people who say all Ef parts are interchangeable
