Hello from Richland, WA!

Hi, my name is Josh and I've been lurking around here for awhile now and thought I would introduce myself.
I have had an infatuation with '88-'91 civic sedans since high school when I almost bought one. Instead I bought a '95 Plymouth Neon. Once I had bought that car I became devoted to Neon camp, I disavowed all Hondas and vehemently spoke against them at every turn. All the while hiding my EF tendencies from my Neon loving brethren. I still lusted after those sedans, even to the point of letting out a solitary tear when a really clean looking EF would drive by. Yet it was a forbidden love. A love I couldn't taste because of the Honda hatred in the Neon camp. Long story short, I wound up selling my beloved Neon six years ago before heading to college in '08. I went to college without a "dope ride yo" which left a major void in my car life. I had picked up a '99 Mercury Sable to be my daily, which was really comfortable but didn't scratch "that" itch. I didn't think about "cool" cars or "sick rides yo" while I was in college much. I was to busy with school work and working to pay for school. But one day, one day a little glimmer entered my life. A little light at the end of the tunnel that brought that "feeling" back into my life. A guy I worked with had a '89 Honda Civic Wagovan. At first I was like, "what is this strange vehicle and why does it have the front end of the Ef sedans I used to like?" My coworker would drive me to lunch with him in it and it was very comfortable and practical. I was really starting to like it, but I wasn't fully "there" yet. I still hadn't quite gotten that "feeling" yet. I didn't get that "feeling" again until I was lurking on another forum, Stanceworks.com, and stumbled upon a couple Wagovan build threads there. I started getting curious, Remembering the good times I had in my coworkers Wagovan. Remembering the want, the Lust, the NEED of an EF from when I was in high school. By then I was hooked. I subscribed to all the Wagonvan build threads on Stanceworks and started Googling about them to learn more. That is how I stumbled upon this amazing place. This "hallowed ground". I have now been around for a couple weeks lurking, lusting, reading, and learning more about these cars.
Anyways, that is a little about me. I don't have a Wagovan yet but I am on the look out for a good deal almost any where in the Northwest since I am so centrally located. Heck, if anyone wants to trade a '99 Mercury Sable for one that would be even better!

yeah but they are either wrecked or so over priced its a joke.... i remember when a clean RT wouldnt be more than $2500 now yer lucky if a run down POS RT is under 3 grand.... i always wonder what goes through peoples minds and if they actually get calls on them. sorry im way off topic here welcome to the site hope u find one hold out i bought a B16 swapped FWD 2 summers ago for $1200 and even a running driving beat down FWD $300 that ran and drove just fine.... the deals are there just gotta be on yer game (or i will get them).

Hahaha, yeah I've already seen a few that are priced higher than they should be. I'll find one though, I think I'm just gonna hold out until I find a clean one at the right price. How is it with the B16 swap? What kind of gas milage do you get? I have been considering doing that eventually but am unsure of the gas milage it would get. I want to keep mine a really clean and stanced wagon but still mainly be a DD that gets good gas milage.
