New CRX/RT4WD owner

I recently picked up a '89 CRX that has a RT4WD drivetrain installed (mostly!). It was done by a couple of kids who did , what I consider, a pretty hacky job, but the thing goes down the road! I am fairly new to Civics, sort of. My summer car is a '84 Civic with a '03 Acura CL-S engine/tranny installed midship. Not exactly built with Civic parts either! Anyway, I need to learn which parts came from what car as I try to make this this a daily driver. Yesterday I replaced the L/F CV axle assy., which by the part sellers listings, turned out to be the axle from the RIGHT side on the left! The car makes a fair amount of noise in the rear, and I suspect needs u-joints ( I have to prioritize it's needs!), the fuel cell doesn't fit/put in the wrong spot and almost hits the roof when I go over a bump and springs rattle on their perches, rubber hose used in place of the fuel lines, house wire used in place of battery cables, wiring harness butchered (I fixed well enough to get it to start and run reliably), and I learned last night the turn signals/hazard light don't work.
About me: 49 y.o. father of 3, grandfather of 1, 2 on the way, am/have been a machinist for nearly 30 years, car hobbyist since ..... have never NOT been! If it's broke, I fix it, if it needs to be made, I make it. Pics posted when the weather clears!
