Wagon love

My name is Nick. I am Spokane, WA. I am and always have been a gear head. Typically building hot rods, ratrods and muscle cars. A good friend of mine a member of the site has always been the Civic guy and he started geting into wagons a few years ago. I watched learned and enjoyed the hell out of them so its my turn. I am hopefully heading to get my first Civic Wagon RT4wd tomorrow.

Welcome, Nick. Be careful, the wagon thing is like a chronic illness.

thats a REALLY clean start! Welcome to the forum, this place is great!
  • is it an rt? I can't tell. The driver's side has all the 2wd stuff and passenger has all the RT decals. Looks super clean, what are the plans for it?

    huh? I don't understand the '2wd stuff'?

Yea it's an RT. Paint matched bumpers is usually the easiest way to tell.
  • No decal on moldings and the 2wd steering wheel. It was more of a joke since you know about the different types of wagons lol

That IS a nice one. Didn't see the pics last night.

BTW: In my experience the 4 spoke steering wheel is only found in the '90-'91s. '88 and '89s have the wheel seen here, just with a different emblem in the center.
  • Ah, I did not know that. Good info

The decal is just really worn down. It's definitely a 2wd 88/89 steering wheel. The RT wheels all say 'Real Time' on them.
