To trade or not to trade..

I have a opportunity to trade my '89 wagon for a '77 civic I built for a friend.. The original bill was right around 10K for the '77 civic for a ground up restoration with a '03 civic 1.7vtec swap with AC! The original owner I built it for decided to sell it after hard times and took a loss and sold it to another friend of mine for 5K :( I've lent my wagon to my friend a few times and he wants to trade  I have my '89 RT. so I guess I really don't need 2 89's :|
My wagon : JDM B16/LSD transmission- integra seats/power windows/locks/custom stereo/Skunk pro-c2/koing heliums

The 77: 1.7vtec/5speed-custom ac-prelude seats-custom gauges-power windows/locks-custom coil-over suspension/4 wheel disc brakes.. blah blah :D

  • this is the stupidest question i think you've ever asked....duh. trade. wagons are easy to find, OG civics....not so much
  • Hmmm, well how well did you build the 77? lol

I would trade if I had two wagons.

for anthony to agree to the trade :D I'm already building him a '78 with a B18c5 swap. so he decided he doesn't need 2 modded 1st gens (I'm also restoring a '79 cvcc to full stock status) for him

That thing is pretty sick... I must say...

But, one quick question: I actually just picked up a set of those Prelude seats for my wagon. How in the hell do I get the handle off o the side so I can remove the trim piece? I didn't mess with it too much. But didn't want to break it. Any info is appreciated...

they are slid on and pressure fit holds them in place, take a block of wood and smack it with a hammer from the base. a few good taps should slide it off

thanks for the compliments.. probably gonna throw the Cf-48's on it, add a little thump to it, when I originally built it Alan only wanted a basic sound system, I need more  switch out the gsr cluster for one in KM/H and I think thats about it.. I really need to get my '79 wagon back together as well
