Technically, yes. Its probably the easiest way to make the B20 work in an 88-91 chassis. Its what I run in my CRX with a high compression B18b.
I believe the comparison is applicable because the B18b and the high compression require a little more fuel than the B18a that the pr4 ecu was designed for.
In my case there was some very slight detonation under very specific conditions and the mixture was just a hair on the lean side. I added an adj fuel pressure regulator, dialed in another 2psi of fuel pressure and everything is perfect now.
