Hello from The Bay

I reside in the Bay Area and am on the search for my very first car and a wagon to call my own.

When I saw the wagon for the first time I thought "Who in their right mind would want one of those? They are U-G-L-Y"
One popped up on my local CL, I emailed the guy 3 hours after he put his posting up and he was quick to inform me that someone had already immediately drove 2 hours to pick it up. I was shocked, I looked into wagons more and more and that is where it all began. My love for them started to grow and now I am obsessed. It is quite sad actually, I scour Craigslist a few times an hour everyday hoping one will show up semi-near me.

A few have shown up, most automatic and one or two manuals out of my price range. I long to have a manual wagon of my own someday - soon hopefully. I am seriously considering picking up an automatic and driving it to hold me over until I can find a manual. Only thing keeping me sane is I just keep telling myself "Good things come to those who wait"

So here's to waiting for my wagon to call my own, wish me luck.

Here are some pictures of the one that got away :(
The pain is akin to watching a beautiful woman walk away and never asking her for her number and wondering what could have been...
Maybe a member on this board picked her up?
