which distributor should i get ? SOHC ZC swap in USDM EE4

Hello and happy thanksgiving everyone, my car has been acting really funny lately , it will sputter and jump rpms while driving and at idle i started throwing the CODE 8 which according to our sticky is a TDC sensor and apparently i need to get a new distributor
ive had problems with my distributor before so instead of trying to fix it im just going to purchase a new one, but im having a problem deciding on which distributor to get.
My motor is a JDM SOHC ZC but i have the usdm d16a6 dizzy on it right now and when i was searching for a new distributor i came across the replacement for a SOHC ZC
the Distributor i got with the motor was a JDM one but it had vacuum lines connected to it so i decided it wasnt a good idea to use it and i dont think the plugs were intact, any who im wondering if i can just use a OE replacement for a d16a6 or if any one has expieriance buying a ZC spec dizzy

heres a link to the parts

  • Use the distributor for the d16a6. The zc unit you posted a link to not only bolts up differently but also has different plugs due to it being for a dohc and lacking one internal sensor.

  • the distributor for the MPFI engine is a model TD02U for 88-89 models or TD18U for 90-91 models. the part numbers are interchangeable between years
