New from Australia

Hey guys,
My names Oliver. Im from Melbourne Australia and just picked up my first civic wagon two days ago.
I had to travel to Tasmania to get it as i couldnt find one anywhere in mainland Australia. Its an 88 AWD RT wagon. The car hardly made it home due to some engine problems so my first plan is to swap in a d16 (350,***km on the d15)
The wagon came with a sunroof, and the rear storage which i was quite happy about.

anyway here are some photos of the new car

  • Welcome, your pictures dont even slightly work. I have edited one to make it work but ran out of time to do the rest, try edit your post to fix the links.

Your Shuttle looks like a good base, 350kms is a lot of laps of Tassie!
  • ye idk what the issue with the links is i was copying the html code. should i be using the IMG code? i have a few more pics of the car but i didnt want to post to many just yet incase what has happened, happened. Anyway thanks for the welcome and i think the car may have been originally from from mainland and then sent to tassie cos they seem to get most of their cars from up here.
  • Yes, you want to use the IMG codes. Just paste them and you can always preview yours posts before you submit them.
  • Click "edit" on your first post and you will be able to see what the img code should look like, I have now fixed the rest
  • hahahah alight cheers ill use the IMG ones in the future.

Currently looking for a d16a8 because this thing is hardly running
  • Im sure this has allready been covered but i was wondering if someone could either point me in the right direction or would be able to give me an answer. As i stated earlier i am looking for a d16a8. My question is, will i need the gear box and loom and ecu ect ect from the d16 as well or is everything else from the wagon interchangeable with the d16 motor.

    thanks in advance

Some more iphone pics of the car
