HEADER CRACK

i have a gnarly crack in my header on my rt and want to know the easiest way to fix it or what headers will fit it.

    I believe the only STOCK header that will fit is the one specific to the RT. If you want to go aftermarket, you have to go with a 4-into-1 design, and there are only a few that will work. I KNOW there is some info on this board somewhere, at least one member has an aftermarket header on an RT. I just can't remember who, or where the info is. Sorry, i guess search around for it.

    Aftermarket headers do not work on your wagon. You've got to do some "customizing" to a regular D header.

    Weld it or have a muffler shop weld it.

    Just curious, stock header or aftermarket? If it's aftermarket, could you let us know what brand it is so we know what DOES fit?

    Well if your CL turns out a bust and you have to get it fixed, make sure they know what they're doing. Iron headers need to be welded with a nickel compound so it may be a pricey repair. Just so you know OEM off of someone is probably cheaper.

    My old hatch had a mad crack too right in the middle were the O2 sensor was.
    Just have a welder grind down the area and weld it up. I had mine done for 25 bucks and he came to my house. Did a sick ass job too. Passed smog no problem.
