Hi from the UK (AR Content)

Hi, I'm Ian, 37, from Torquay in England. Discovered this site through a google search and just had to join.
I'm the very proud owner of an '86 AR Civic Shuttle 4WD, I've owned the car for a couple of months and had it on the road for a month now. Prior to me buying it it'd been laid up for 2.5 years parked under a hedge but with a fresh battery, true to Honda form it fired up straight away. Over here rust did away with most of these, according to a site with a link to the DVLA database there are only 6 of these left on the road here, with another 10 off the road. This one however was garaged up until 5 years ago which I think is what saved it. I paid a mere £100 for it with only 56000 miles and 2 previous owners, the last of whom bought it on my birthday in 1987. I was stoked to discover that it'd never been welded and only needed the scuttle repairing around the passenger wiper spindle. Rarity wasn't gonna stop me modifying it so nearly 6" came out of the ride height via some custom coilover rear axle perches and Volvo 850 rear shocks on the rear, while turning the torsion bars and fitting 1st Gen CRX 16 16 dampers sorted the front. It's wearing 15x6.5 Speedline Vegas with Nankang NS2s and a Renault Megane splitter. It's a pushbutton 4WD but unlike all the later ones it has no viscous coupling to the back axle................which means that with the front driveshafts removed and the button pushed it's RWD! (which it is now
)
Anyways, have a picture or 2

And my long term project Honzuki
