Exhaust Re-circulation System

Can any one please help?ERS is the code my ECU is flashing...never heard of it.Have you? What is it? What does it even do? An how do i fix it? I could really use some EXP on this one,please help.

    as far as i know no wagon came with an EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) valve

    what ECU are you running, what motor, what year wagon, what region, etc?

    so what ECU? obviously not stock if its from an OBD1 vehicle.

    a VX motor? i think they are the only ones that used an EGR. oh and the 8 valve CX's

    You must have misread the error code, are you sure it's code 12?
