hello! allow me to introduce myself

Not a Wagon owner yet, but consistently searching for one to buy.

Currently a 93 Del Sol owner(which is my passion), but I still have my heart set out to find a Wagon, and if theres one car that could get me away from the Sol community it'd DEF be a Wagon.
I love the retro look, and the room they have. The rims you see in my pics actually came off a Wagon. I was afraid there wouldnt be any good forums for the Wagon, but this one seems to be really good and active 8) .

I live in southern PA. I'm willing to take on any project. I have a body guy who does great welding repair and paint. I'm a wagon noob for the most part so any help on what year and model to get will be appreciated. I dont expect to find a RT4wd either lol. Right now im in the works of swaping an LS into the sol, so once i get a wagon, i'll make it OBD1 by swapping my z6 into it.

  • Thanks everyone! I been spending countless hours searching for the right Wagon to buy. Im looking to spend about $800-$1000 and do all the work to bring it back to life. I spent probably over 8 hours in Wagon research/HCW build threads, and I'm liking everything I read. I'd hate to get rid of the del sol, but If anyone has a SUPER clean wagon i'd trade straight up.

You are gonna keep that roof rack for your wagon right??
  • Unfortunately sold it to my close friend who put it on his Festiva lol, But eventually I could probably buy it back when I get a wagon(searching daily). I'd rather get a Basket carrier for the wagon though. Im gonna use Alllllll that room a wagon has to offer.
  • Welcome neighbor. I'm in harrisburg. I think you'll find this forum (as I did) to be one of the best. Lots of information, and the members always lend helpful advice. There are a surprising amount of pa members on all the ef/ee forums I belong too.

  • side note question for ya... are you gonna rock a stock ls or are you going with golden eagle ls vtec kit..?

Yeah i was surprised to find this such an active and very helpfull source of info on this forum. Im from Mt Joy, which is only like 25 min away from the H-burg. What needs to be done so every post doesnt need to be approved?? I wanna be active on here as well, but waiting for posts to be approved kinda sucks lol. I guess its a protection to keep the legit people in and the others out which makes sense

Not doing LSV, Its a fast swap, but also I hear its not a good combo for something to last. Something bout the rods not wanting to go straight up and down and ovaling the cylinder walls or whatever. I have a full turbo kit i peiced together over the past 2 years, i'll throw that on the stock LS and get a good tune...or save the turbo kit for the wagon. Its a dsm t25, stainless manifold : / (didnt have to much choice when using a td05 flanged turbo), RC 440's, walbro FP, socketed P28, + all the other parts needed
