17" cooper wheels?

I did a search on 17 inch wheels but could not find a difinitive answer on what the fitment would be like with suspention set up stock VS modified. I did manage to find a posting with a set on a 4wd but no mention if it acually works...
can anyone point me in the right direction? Im thinking about buying a set...

They are 17x7" with an offset of around +45et. So basically just like any average everyday 17" wheels

A month or so in the members ride thread someone started a build thread that got locked for one reason or another.

He had the mini 17's on there and they looked way way to big. I was really sad because I have always loved the way they looked and wanted to see them on a Honda.

Thats the same posting I saw where dude is supposedly from Hawaii. I have found other postings of 17x7 and no mention of any real issues. Im going keep reading to find out more. In any case there a set on Craigs going for $100 with relatively new run-flat tires...I already have a bottle cap set but im always looking for new shoes..

yeah man they can be had for cheap. I don't see any issues with fitment. They are just huge wheels, they might be really heavy.

If you get them all you need to do is run 205/40/R17 tyres and they will fit fine. That is essentially the same rolling diameter as a 195/55/R15
  • I had a set of 18 on my car I was running 205/35r17 on stock suspension with only a few problems with fender rub at full lock.

If it hard the correct sized tyres then they would fit perfectly
