One problem leads to another =/

motor specs: d16z6 with y8 intake manifold.
problem: smoke coming from what seems to be under the engine near the throttle body. (ill upload a pic and circle where the smoke comes from.) it smells like gas but i cant find anything leaking. im pretty stumped. maybe im missing something that someone else will catch. it only smokes when i rev the car hard. it i slowly rev it up no smoke at all

(pic isnt of my motor it was the only thing i could find)

    sounds like your PVC is unplugged.

    just checked pcv is plugged in

    could be the hose is cracked from age.
    what color smoke? how MUCH of it?

    its white, and its only like a puff of it if i rev the car up to like 4k. it smells like gas, but i checked all the gas lines and i couldnt find any cracks or leaks even while the car was on.

    Not sure but maybe a egr line is open?
    Exhaust Smoke is recirculated to go back into intake.

    i dont know. i got three days off so im going to look over everything. i hope its an easy fix

    take out your charcoal canister. leave it out. see what happens.

    fixed the problem. the smoke was from a coolant line leaking and the gas smell was due to the bolts on the exhaust pipe being loose
