I currently have an 05 s2000 that ive started to race so i'm kinda looking for a cool daily.
I'm torn between a wagon of just about every year, to a first gen close to where i work, a 90-91 crx or an older si hatch.

So i figured id post up on here so i could check out the for sale section and see if anyone close to me is trying to get rid of one.

heres my S

been a little while and still no luck!
countless people on craigslist send me back a reply or two and then dont answer any important ones shortly there after. I wonder how many of these are scams or people that just dont want to try to sell their car. It's frustrating.

A buddy of mine might have found me one about 2 hours away though, we'll see next week!
  • It's crazy !

    good luck ( :

Hey buddy, where are you located? It took me close to 4 months to find one. I might be able to give you some leads if you are still looking.

Shreveport/bossier area. I actually found one in town, gold rt4wd and owned by a friend of mine's dad. Body is great minus some paint but theres no propshaft or viscous coupler and i cant ever get him to message me back about actually wanting to sell it. :( He also didnt notice that the thing has a sohc zc motor in it. :D

Gulfport wouldnt be too far from me if this one fails. I'll send ya a text in a minute

Yeah you're a little ways from me but if you are into a 3rd gen I know of an 85 rt4wd just outside of baton rouge.

3rd gen you say? what kind of condition?

I'm really thinking about this 88 of my friends. I just dunno how hard its gonna be to source the propshaft and viscous coupler for it. It has a few other problems but the body is so straight(minus paint) theres no reson not to. I swear theres no rust on the outside anywhere. It is a 6sp too. He just hasnt gotten a price back from his dad yet.

He did say it had everything for ac on there but it needed a different ECU on it. Any thoughts on that?

I just need something to last at least a few months without a blowing a motor and then i can worry about a build. The s2k is eating me alive on my 32 mile drive to and from work in the morning, but im really willing to wait for the right one.

Local guy (to that wagon) on another forum let me know where it was. He stopped in and took a quick look, said it was in decent condition exterior/interior wise. I believe he said it was red. I haven't personally seen it but I did call about it. I know its a rtawd and carb but once the guy said what year it was I kinda tuned him out. I think he said he was in the process of putting a new condenser in it. It's at an old out of the way car lot and I can give you the number maybe he can get you some pictures but they are kinda hard to get a hold of cause I think they run another business on site as well and it took me about 3 tries to get someone to answer the phone. Let me know if you want the number and I will PM it to you.

If i dont hear back about this 88 this week i will let you know. I'm trying to just get him to send me his dads number so i can handle it myself, but even getting a text back from him is proving difficult.

Everything about finding a wagon down here has been difficult it seems. That's why mine came from far, far away.

Did you ever find one? I'm thinking of selling mine. 1990, totally stock, one owner (me). I'm in Central Mississippi.

I did finally yesterday 1988 rt in brown and brown 253k on the odo a zc swap. No prop shafty bits and needs a new compressor.

Has the under seat tray, a spare tire spacer, factory service manual and some receipts from the 90s when it was serviced at the dealer. I stole it for a grand!
