DA steering wheel wont come off. Help

OK I hope this is in the right place, So when I bought my car it had a da steering wheel on it, I dont want it anymore and cant get it off. It doesnt/didnt have a nut on it which I figured out recently. Tried to pull it as hard as possible and even my mechanic friend tried to no avail. Any ideas I really want this thing off.

    wheel puller its pressed on. you no gonna get it off just by hand. need a wheel puller

    If you don't have a wheel puller, put a nut back in the middle with a couple turns. Add some penetrating lube down the middle. Have one hand pull on the steering wheel and use your other hand and whack the other end of the steering wheel. With luck, it should come off after a couple of minutes. I took off at least 10 different cars with the original oem steering wheels with that trick.

    I've only had to use the steering wheel puller twice before and one of them was so stuck it broke the c-clip inside the steering column. The steering wheel would have half an inch of freeplay up and down.

    I got it off, It was so far down on the column I had to use a puller. I did have to cut the very back cover off the steering wheel though. So now Im hunting a new one for shh yogi shh. I feel bad but that was not comming off any other way. Thanks for the tip though.

    Man I put that wheel on and it wont come off mine now ha. the threads must be messed up.

    That sucks,need some help? You want me to find you a different wheel? Who ever put it on my car didnt have a clue what they were doing.
