auto harness fit 5 speed ecu?

Hi guys im doin a 5 speed swap soon and i just want a straight answer do i have to change wiring harnesses for the 5 speed ecu to work or the automatic harness fits too? thx

    im assuming u mean engine harness? your auto engine harness will work just fine. If u hunt around theres all sorts of step by steps on how to do this swap. ive never done one but i bet its not super hard.

    The only difference you'll notice is no reverse lights. In the automatic car the wires (green and yellow) and the switch are at the shifter. The manual switch is on the tranny and the wires are in the engine harness.

    Reverse lights and the egr valve(I think that's what it's called) are the differences. egr valve is not on the manual engine bay harness but it is on the auto engine bay harness.
    As far as the plug in, inside the car, for the ecu. The plugs are the same. Hope this helps.
