I need help from you suspension gurus.

I have a set of Tein SS with pillow mounts installed on my wagon, and have run out of travel on the greased collar.

For the car to ride were I want it to the coil has to be so preloaded that the ride suffers. I would also like to raise it a little bit more. The rear is fine.

So the question I have is,
Do I put stiffer coils in the front or
Do I put longer coils in the front or
Do I do both.

With coil over the spring rates are generally linear so preloading should not affect the ride.
The ride will suffer if it is too soft of a spring so that you either hitting the bump stops or coil binding the spring.
As you are raising the car I don't think would be an issue.

I would get a longer spring.. The stiffer spring will not help your ride.

Hmmm, I wonder if they are binding. Thanks for the insight, I'll have to look into longer springs

    Will longer springs it is.

Now another question should I add a hundred pounds of spring rate to the longer spring for a the extra weight of a b series swap.
