Hi from Madison, WI

I can't believe I waited so long to join. I've been driving my '91 wagon for about 5 years and LOVE it, although it is in sad shape now (too rusty for the back bumper to stay on straight, no exhaust, broken front springs, and now, front end damage. Still the best car ever, so I'm trying to figure out how to revive the poor thing.

It seems that there is too much wrong with the poor thing to justify the cost of reviving it. I guess it has more damage than my mechanic first thought. So, I'm looking for a replacement. Maybe the old one can be an organ donor.

There is never too much wrong with a car, as long as you are willing to put the time and money into it. Mine was in horrible condition when i got it and now it's not the best but I get a lot of compliments for it.

Thanks for the optimism. I have plenty of time, very little mechanical ability, and even less money. I'll take some pics and compile a list of what's good and bad about the car. I need some advice, for sure. I don't want to give up on this one if I can help it.
