Oil Dipstick

I think that my '86 Honda wagon (4x4) has a replacement oil dipstick. Does anyone know what is the proper length for a oil dipstick for that model?

Thanks,
Bill

I don't know, but if you're worried about it being inaccurate you could change the oil, fill it with exactly 4 quarts, start it to get oil circulating through the block and filter, then check the level on the dipstick. Wherever it is you could scratch/punch/drill a mark onto the dipstick.

Thanks for the info -- I think that I have got an emerging oil leak problem, but was not sure until I got the dipstick replaced. I found one this weekend in a wrecked '87 wagon 4x4.
