yea, I love that thing. It was originally a cargo van, but I bought 4 LE captain's chairs and installed them with the rear seats about 12" further back (with no 3rd seat). And I carpeted the whole inside and put a little system in it. It feels like a limo when you ride in the back. It was the perfect size for my old band to go play shows in. The 4 of us and 3 amps, guitars, drum kit, etc. all fit perfectly and it got about 21 or 22 miles to the gallon loaded to the gills. I also added the wheels and the factory mudflaps and a few other things. The Toyota vanwagon has a 4Y engine in it. The only other thing Toyota makes that has that engine, is a forklift, which runs on natural gas. I've been checking into using all original Toyota parts and converting it to run on natural gas. It would lose about 20% of it's horsepower, but I still thing it would be pretty awesome.
we got the wife an '09 smart fortwo, right off the showroom floor w/6 miles on it. it now has over 20K.
and I have 5 and half '78 & '79 GoldWings. 2 that are ridable... so far.
and a '90 Chevy 4x4 pick-em-up-chuck... yes, that's up-chuck. it's UG-ly. hey, for $300 I ain't bitchin'.
