Soon to be new wagonist from courtenay, vancouver island, BC

Hey guys my names Danny and I am soon to be the owner of a 89 FWD civic wagon. Now leme tell you honestly before this car came up I wasnt really a fan of the civic wagons, but after lookin around on here and seeing how nice they can turn out Ive had a change of heart, and now after reading alot and seeing many more they have really started to grow on me and I like em alot! The main reason I didnt really like them before was because I figured it having 2 extra doors and being a bigger car, it must weigh quite a bit. To my surprise after researching.. correct me if im wrong but they only way roughly 2200-2300lbs curb weight FWD model. Thats not bad at all! considering.. again correct me if im wrong but a 2000 sir weights 2600lbs curb weight, and an integra type r about 2500lbs. I compare to those because a couple of friends have those and the sir has a b18c in it so its probably a little higher weight. so why does that matter? well they both must have spent at least around $15,000 on thier cars to this point... why does that matter? well we shall find out right now...
well heres a little background story on the reason I am even buying a second car.. right now I have a 4.5" lifted 4.0L auto cherokee runnin 33" mudders.

the things an absolute pig on gas and I will be going to school soon and am in need of a comuting car. so after weeks of searching for civics and crx's out here and looking at rusted, broken piles of junk that needed alot of work I gave up out here.. apparently its hard to find such a simple common car, dont know why. So plan B, called my bro in the vancouver lowermainland area, told him to fish around for me. next day at work (assist manager at lordco) a good customer and friend from highschool comes in and says hes got somthin. 1989 FWD civic wagon, 5spd short throw shifter, rebuilt b18a with aftermarket cams rebuilt about 40,000-50,000kms ago, short ram intake, full exhaust, new cv shafts, brand new skunk2 coilovers, upgraded rear control arms, integra front brake conversion, black 16" 7 spoke si rims with fresh tires, civic si front bumper with lip, yellow fog lights, HID kit, older recaro drivers seat, grant gt woodgrain steering wheel, white faced gauges, new cd deck and even amp and subs. The only bad thing is there is a fair amount of rust on the passanger side rear wheel well but when im done with ti you either wont notice it or wont see it at all. so you must be wondering how much this car is? well he told my brother for me he is willing to sell it for $1500 with everything mentioned above! good deal or what!? you guys tell me!
just wanted to show you a civic i had previously owned years ago, before and after I did a little makeover detailing to hide its ugly rusty dented truth haha
before

after

cant really tell in the first pic how bad the rust was around the rear wells, but lets put it this way.. it looked like shit.
anyways back to the wagon.. recap.. roughly 2300lb car (lil more with the swap i guess) with a 1.8 with cams, exhuast, intake, handling and braking upgrades for $1500... 2000 sir 2600lbs (lil more with b18c swap i would assume), and a integra type r 2500lbs... both roughly $15,000 in.. keep in mind of course thiers are shiny near show car quality of course. but if i didnt know any better Id say for $1500 ive got myself a contender!
anyways heres some pics of the car throughout various stages and points in time, the si bumper is not shown in any of the pics, and the other set of rims does not come with the car

sooo with all that said and shown, im like 99% sure I am going to go back to the mainland this monday to go pick it up because it seems like an insane deal on a really cool car, just wana know what you guys think.
$1500 yes or no?
