Sohc vtec?

hey everyone got an 88 wagon with an 89 crx motor d15b2 couple mods,new cold air intake and ractive header and downpieipe polished 2" exhaust header back 8mm wires and irridium spark plugs looking to vtec it, looking for info, ive found a few d16 vtecs and a d17 vtec all still good just wondering what will i need to vtec my d15??? if any one can help im all ears (well eyes) any oppinions will help

i think ive made my mind up on just doing a d16y8vtec but i dont know what else to do to it other than deader exhaust intake and manifold and possibly a chip n e suggestions other then forced induction????

Never had an issue but they are cheap stuff so i could believe it.
