S4 Green Light Flashing

Hi guys was wondering if you can help
converted my 1989 awd civic wagon to a front 2wd because i was to hard find a awd tranny
so i converted it to 2wd put new tranny, whole for new shift linkage, new axles ect..
when we finished we turned on wagon and there was a S4 greenlight flashing on and of before wen it i had it awd i would press a button by automatic shifter because it was awd to turn it on now im not awd its a 2wd and it flashes on and off and when im driving at 80mph the rpms are at about 4-4.5 is that normal?
before tranny went out it would run perfect and now dont know what to do stuck.
put a 91 civic is but still flashing green light and still revving hight at high mph
so my question is do any of new guys now what the problem is?
did conversion wrong?
ecu?
cluster?
wiring?
bad tranny?

It must be working cause he says when he is going 80mph the toms are at 4
what else u think i can do
thanx change ecu?
also the old awd tranny had 2 silinoids the new 2wd tranny has one silinoid i connect one connector and now there a loose cable were it use to connect to second silinoid?
do ground it?
mm new wire harness?
