Idaho wagin

:) Hello, Just bought another wagovan, so I thought I'd join up. It's gonna be my daily driver, but I plan on doing a bunch of stuff to it. When I bought it, it had a low cylinder. Maybe a stuck or burnt valve. I have a used head that's in good condition that I'm going to swap into it. I couldn't believe I was still getting 37 mpg's with it running the way it is haha. I had a 89 wagon last summer and I was getting 42 highway. I hope to top that with this one. Oh yeah, it's a '90 2wd. Still had the manual in the glove box and all the original floor mats, even though the drivers side is pretty wore. Even still has the foam over the spare tire to keep the floor level. Oh and the jack and tool bag are intact. Has a couple dents, but I think I'll be able to pull em. First thing after swapping heads though, is a full limo tint lol. Oh and it has a Honda tape deck, I busted out my old tape collection lol. Probably the only guy jammin out to tapes haha. Well I'm sure I'll be posting some questions, so till then...........

Make sure that you search before asking any questions. Welcome to HCW, did anyone refer you.

Don't worry, I know the routine. No, I think I saw a link from Honda-tech a while back, and just now joined up. Thanks for the welcome :) I tried posting pics of my car, but they're too big I guess. Can anyone tell me how. Do I have to get a photobucket account or anything? I looked in the FAQ and didn't see how. Thanks

A few things I've done so far:

New bosch wind shield wipers, new premium air filter, new bosch o2 sensor, new temp sending unit, new temp sensor, drained transmission fluid and filled with Red Line MTF, changed oil with Royal Purple and WIX, and used mothers back to black on all exterior plastic.

Here's some pics. Keep in mind she's dusty from her first off road experience lol :D

Oh, and here's our dog, she does a lot of wagin in the wagon :)

And this is my Beast... performance chipped, lifted, rhino lined, swayed, and magnaflowed.

What part of idaho are you from?

I grew up in Sandpoint, but have lived around Payette since 2000. I currently live outside New Plymouth. About 20 miles from Caldwell.

Nice little wagon. More and more idaho wagoneers latley.

Was suprised that there was 5-6 that just randomly showed up at the autox this past weekend. Wheres those pix at James??

Were on track for some good sized wagon meets this year ;)

lol, well I'm not sure my wagon will be worthy of meets. I pretty much plan on getting it cleaned up the best I can. Pulling the dents, and painting the steelies and such. I'm currently swapping out a bad head on it. I'm more about mpg's at this point in time. I prefer OEM. Not big on mods. I'm going to save that for when I eventually get the cash rolling in. I'm trying to get work up in alaska :) Then it's k20 time lol. I drive a sh** load, so most my money is currently going to gas. I plan to learn a lot from this site though. Lots of good info I would never find on honda-tech.

Edit: Any one know why I can't view the marketplace? I have like 13 posts already.

We dont care if its nice or not. Were a small enough crowd that we cant be real particular. Hell ive rolled my wagon and I show at whatever gatherings weve put together so far, lol.

Are you on www.idahomotorsports.com ? Pretty easy to find motor parts locally on there, especially d-series stuff.

I have to sort through them to get the good ones, than edit them. I got halfway through editing than photobucket wouldn't let me do anymore.
Doesn't matter if your car is a show car or a bucket, we like them all. Next auto x you should join us, get to know some other wagoneers. Everyone is friendly. Wouldn't mind having another wagon in the mix.

Sweet, It's currently tore apart in my moms garage, but we'll have her running by wed. I'll have to hit up a meet for sure. I knew I couldn't be the only one that loves these things lol. I'm not on IMS, but I'm going to check it out. I'd kinda like to check out the market place here though. I'll pm someone if I still can't view it in a couple days. Thanks for all the kind welcomes, much appreciated.
