upgrading b16 head

Hi all,
I have a 1st gen b16 in the wagon and it has been sitting for a good 2.5 years. Well, the turbo hatch is sold, so now I can concentrate more on the wagon.
My question is...I'm thinking about upgrading the head (to ITR cams with cam gears). Is it necesary to replace the valve/springs/retainers as well? Maybe getting a 3 angled valve job and Port/polish head at same time?
I searched Honda tech but finding mixed results.

A couple things to remember..
1. A three angle valve job is just a fancy way of saying...your typical valve job. If you were gonna do any type of serious mod with the valves you would first need a better quality valve and then do a 5 angle.
2. Also before doing any sort of Port and Polish make sure the machine shop your going to is experienced and understands how a Honda heads flow works. Its crucial that they do not over port the head. A stock DOHC Honda head has excellent flow as it is and should only be ported (in my opinion) to about 4-5 cfm. I cant begin to tell you how many guys are upset with a stock engine set up with a head that was ported to around 7 cfm. Obviously it would really depend on how much actual modification was done to the motor as a whole. Its just that the majority of people do not own a full drag race setup and will lose low to mid range horse power and torque gains by over porting.
Again, just my opinion on everything so do what you feel is right.
