New member with a, just bought, 88 wagon

My names Raymond from Honolulu, Hi.. I've been lurking around for quite a while now but didn't want to register until I picked up a wagon.. And today, actually 3hrs ago, I bought an 88 civic wagon, realtime all wheel drive, 5 speed... Exterior is kinda beat up, nothing I can take care of myself. Engine runs smooth but the guy I bought it from said oil would accumulate in the #2 sparkplug tube, again nothing I can't handle...

Car has 127,xxx miles on it, minor leaks here and there. Plans are to do timing belt, water pump, all seals, valve cover gasket, all other gaskets, and all fluid flushes...

awesome! are you planning on doing a paint job at some point, or are you going to keep the gold?

Well plan was to use it as a daily commuter for work. I got a 66 continental and I ain't driving that boat to work, and a 06 Audi a3 turbo and with all the upgrades Im lucky to get 20mpgs out of it.. So for now, get the leaks squared away/preventive maintenance, take care of the rust spots, and tint...

But later, later plans is lower it, rims, and maybe a paint job.. Was thinking a super white or a super off white... Or spray it gold again but make it looked faded and aged but sanding the corners down to the primer then spraying a flat clear over it...

Plans are to do some maintenance on it... Timing belt, water pump, seals, etc.. Valve cover gasket, flush all fluids, and change those damn rear diff bushings.. But I also plan to lower it, possibly find some gsr or si wheels- longterm is widened steelies, tint, and take care of some rust... I don't want to dump too much money into it cuz I mainly bought it as a gas saver commuter..

And a buddy of mine was installing a double din in his CL and let me use his stock unit. Plugged right in, bolted right up, and powered up.. Just gotta wait on him to get me the security code for it and I should be in business...

Only adjustments made was the front toe... Rear toe didn't go out after lowering it.. And no stock camber adjustments... But i'm gonna order adjustable front upper control arms, rear camber arms and rear toe arms so I can dial in the alignment...

I have Skunk2 front and rear camber kits brand new in the box if you're interested. Sold the wagon before I had the chance to install them. Let me know.
