What's up WagoDoods? I do not have a wagon but will not pass up the opportunity to buy one for the right price. I joined just to check out the awesome wagons on this site. Currently I am playing with a '91 Galant VR4 in Belize Green and an '89 Eagle Summit LX in white.

These pics are from the day I got this car. It will not look like this for long. Sitting on my shelf are a big 16g, 550cc injectors, 3" GM MAF and MAFT and a FMIC.

These are pics from the P.O. I do not have the scary harnesses...

I have been playing with Mitsubishis for 10 years now with a few other car models mixed in.

A Summit was my first test car. I did an oil change on one when I was 8 and haven't stopped learning about cars since. Welcome.

I don't think so bro. There are Galants in other countries. These chassis had various other names attached to them like Lancer and Mirage but the Galant chassis is totally different.

    Thanks for the love guys!

oh, well i might be wrong. not realy a mitsubishi guy. i just go what i see. haha! since your into mitsubishis, have you ever had or seen a Legnum?

Seen plenty of Legnums. But they were not sold in the USA so I have never had one. The VR4 Legnums are gnarly... Closest thing we have in America is the Diamante wagon which uses the SOHC 6G72 like a FWD Stealth/3KGT. I have dreamt of finding a clean one and AWD/DOHC turbo swapping it.

The summit is called a Mirage and Lancer. We have them here... rusting out by the thousands. Welcome. :)

HAHA thanks! Mine is rusty too. Cut a 25" by 15" hole out of the rear floor last night. Going to replace with new material and paint it today.

My friend had a bone stock VR4 way back in the day. Sleeper & FUN, sums it up..

    Started out looking like this.
    601.jpg

Fixed the rot. Used a piece of stainless from an Ansul kitchen fire suppression system box.
    602.jpg

Wire wheeled off any rust, cleaned and painted affected areas with Sherwin Williams rust control. Also wire wheeled and re-sealed the "drain plugs" in the floor. No pictures.

Pressure washed, dyed and touched up with spray-paint the nasty grey carpet. I think it looks much better black. I am not so sure about the grey mats though.

Next up will be the new dash and bezel then some go fast and stop fast parts.
