NEw to the wagon scene

RTiAWDRTiAWD Band Wagon
in New User Introductions
I just got my hands on a 88 awd wagon. From the decoding of the vin its and rti wagon built in japan. and idk what engine its supposed to have but the block stamping only says ZC. Which im guessing means its a SOHC Non Vtech ZC

    Because you think you have an RTi. You definitely don't have an RTi.

    You have an RT4wd.

    The reason your motor says 'ZC', is because the motor has been replaced with a Japanese motor. Originally, your motor would say D16A6.

    Also, no 'H' on vtec. People will jump on you for that. Just fyi.

    ok and if you use this vin decoder, http://members.multimania.nl/hendrik/honda/vin.htm. it says i have an rti. thats where i got the info from. and my bad on the vtec with the H thing

    I'm just telling you, if you live in the United States, and it's a left hand drive car.... it's not an RTi.

    Might not matter, but a website from the Netherlands could be your problem. Try decoding your VIN with an American manual.

    Regardless, welcome, and hopefully you'll find plenty of information here...
