Oklahoma Waggon Owner

Hey guys. I got my hands on an 85 waggon (75,000 origiinl miles, one owner) last summer to drive back and forth to school instead of my truck. I was hoping to find out some more info about it on here. I have not had much luck at finding anybody modding these older models. Just curious what all people have done to them as far as engine swaps, suspension, interior, exterior, etc.

Really wanting to do an engine swap in the future, what engines are the easiest to swap into these?? I was thinking an 85 crx possible because it is the same engine (from what I have read) it just has fuel injection while mine is carb. This would gain me about 20hp. Not sure what else would fit as far as space and such. Any advice??

I will continue searching around to see what I can find. Thanks for all the help!

Welcome to the forum.Wow a 3000 miles a year average.
  • Thanks! Yeah it was owned by an older lady that bought it brand new in 85. I still have the window sticker and everything for it. Just having trouble finding any info about modding these older bodystyles.

If you have the 2wd your going to need the wiring harness out of the hatchback Si, trust me, it will make things a hell of a lot easier. Then, you will need everything from motor to the fuel puimp, When you find that Crx or Civic Si, feel free to contact me here, but there are a number of redpepperracing members in OKC and surrounding area.
