Civic Fuel Hard Line Compatibility and the RT4WD

Does anyone have any insight regarding the 3 fuel hard lines for the RT4WD and compatibility with other 88-91 Civics? Going from the tank to the front of the car. A quick search at hondaautomotiveparts.com was able to show me they are very close if not exactly the same with a 90' Civic EX sedan. But that is just a picture and of course un-available for purchase.

I'm not so sure I'll be able to find these hard lines for the RT specific in my area. The lines in my RT are so rusted below the service hole that gas just pours out. Very Dangerous. :x So rather than put a bandaid on this problem. I'd rather replace the hard lines and do it right the first time.

Any help is much appreciated and hopefully we can get a list together for future use.

  • Where's the rust? Is it right at the Banjo? Could you get enough tubing off the banjo to be able to put on some compression fittings and more steel line? You could "repair" the line if that were the case.

No, The three lines that go from the interior to exterior (after the rubber grommet) Are all rusted... The banjo line that has the rubberized tubing is also rusted.

Anyone? I'm at a loss here, Don't know where I'm going to find these lines...

Can anyone confirm the fuel pump banjo bolt is a M12? or is it M14?
