 Before you start look at cost vs. other company options.Look at ST(Suspension Techniques )Rear LCA.There are pics on this site. It's a great design. It both lowered & allowed camber adj.from the LCA.Look at their Front Shock fork(pics @ this site too).It allows riding w/o the lowering spring bounce. Both are discontinued, but ST is looking into remaking it 'cuz we(& other EF/CRX sites) bought out their remaining stock fast.I believe one of the big reasons it was discontinued was too high a retail price.Another thing to remember is most Wgn/EF/CRX owner's DON"T have deep pockets.
Yeah, I know a lot of people loved the ST rear lca - that's kinda what gave me the idea. Does anybody know if those were aluminum or cast iron (I'm assuming cast iron). My plan is to do some research and see roughly what the ideal LCA length would be on a lowered car with a camber kit adjusting the top to keep the rear wheels as close to 0 degrees of camber possible. Adjustable would be ideal though. I'm looking into both. I wasn't able to find the front shock fork - does anybody that a pic of it??

If someone were to use a upper camber kit ,then what's the point of getting yours. Why pay twice & mo work. That's why ST combined the lowering & cam. adj.
I haven't done the measurements yet, but theoretically if you only use upper camber adjustment the problem is you can only go out so far before rubbing on the fenders - but if you were able to adjust the top out some, and bring the bottom in some you'd still keep axle length the same (one thing I still have to do measurements on) as well as keeping the tires out closer the fenders as apposed to in where the stock camber is. It may work with just the lower adjustment, I'm not sure yet until I do some measuring. Optimally adjustment on top and bottom would be able to get you the best alignment of tire to car possible though in my opinion.
1) seat rails! I don't even care if they slide. If there was a simple way to mount eg/dc (most popular) to EE I think they would sell. Most of us aren't gonna be buying recaro/bride seats but still want to upgrade from oem seats. Mainly I just want to sit lower to the ground. A lot of us aren't fabricators, so theyd be willing to pay for this. I know a lot of people can make their own.
this could be done for any car really, there are lot of tall guys that would just like to sit lower in their hondas.
2) rear "miracle x" replica bar for wagons. The bar that connects the rear struts to the c pillar
3) wagon specific license plate relocaters. these would have to be really sick because most people will just do a cheap DIY.
great ideas guys. I totally agree on the popularity of the drop forks and rear lcas. ST stopped makin them for a reason, but we'll never know the whole story. I remember rumors of a set breaking on someone.
I didn't mention these because it's not wagon specific and I think that's where your market would be because its untapped.
I do remember seeing your post somewhere that you got a new shop, that is awesome and I would love to stop by when you are up and running.

Can't remember where this is from, I think its custom
I believe the machine shop that I might be using for some stuff might be able to make wheels as well. Not sure on the cost, but who knows. I have a lot of ideas rolling around in my head for things to make, I'm trying to figure out what parts people would need and buy, especially ones that aren't made. I'm not looking for a huge markup on parts as this won't be the major income for my business, I'm doing it more for fun and to get my name out there.

Well in this economy its probably not viable to even try to sell something that people can order online. If you have an original product people will have to come to you.
I feel that if you could offer custom fabrication, tuning and or wiring it would attract the average guy who just does basic work on his car.
I think tuning is the big deal because its residual. People upgrade, they need a new tune.
Im in for seat rails.. im 6'3" and hit my head w/e I hit a bump something to sit lower would be awsome... Delsol seat brackets would be sweet cause you could still use the sliders and they sit really low

Yes! I'm 6'2 and the seat height is the only thing that I don't really like about the wagon. Wouldn't be bad if the seat would go back farther!
I just got an installed a full hitch on my EF hatch.. I am going to try it on the wagon next & make a duplicate... I will take some pics and throw you the dimensions if you want to re-make ones that you don't have to fabricate you car for... Direct bolt on... You just have to take off the chassis tie down and an it bolts in place of them.
It is beefy too.. was a custom job for someone, they made it skirt the exhaust and everything..

Best of Luck.

I think another untapped market that could explode is replica factory wheels
