I finally got around to re-registering on the new site here, but I'm really glad to see your swap was done so well, even with all the tranny mishap's. How do you like the new gearing and LSD?

Thanks. I can't say enough about the swap and my tranny. Love the LSD! With a stock but new clutch and a Findanza 7 lb flywheel I rip through the gears so fast. The wagon response is incredible after the swap. My next move is to get traction bars to help with the wheel hop. Then brake upgrade and later custom turbo.
Glad to see you finally came aboard. It's funny I was looking at some treads from the old site the other nite and came accross your wagon and I was wordering what happened to you. What the status on your beast?

Good to hear! I'm the same way, I can't really explain how much of a difference the swap makes toward the whole driving experience. I've had the priveledge of driving many amazing cars and trucks, and yet nothing feels like these budget psuedo-sports cars that Honda makes...it's just different, and in a good way! I love it.
I've had some ridiculuous plans for my shuttle for a while...dumb stuff like a K20R, and Si-R front end and right-hand conversion, but I've recently ditched ideas like that for money better spent elsewhere.
I picked up a B16 cable tranny that was reworked with the 98 R's gearing, carbon coated synchros and a quaife LSD, and will pull the engine to send the shell out for minor body work and paint as soon as the dealer finds my molding replacements. I managed to order all the most obscure parts that they haven't made in years, so patience is my game right now. Some motor work will be done while it's pulled, and when the shell gets back to the shop, I'll be switching over to OBD1 for tuning. It should be making around 220 on the dyno if the setup is like some others we've done! The braking power I have now isn't safe, so I'll have to figure out what to do there, but other than that I'll be stoked with this setup.
Yeah, there's a lot going on right now! I'll make sure to document it, and keep ya posted in the coming weeks. And thanks again for all the inspiration and hard work you've put into your wagon...it never ceases to impress!
I picked up the Import Tuner mag as soon as I saw that post. Wow. It was like a dream I had. I was once thinking of doing a k24 swap in my wagon until I realized how expensive it was going to be. I was excited to see it and I felt like I got kicked in the growin at the same time. Mad props to that k24 wagovan owner.
love your car man. it was your pics that inspired me to get one. you have mad powaaaaaa of persuation cause this ain't no imitation!
Thanks 949. Im glad that it inspired you. I always thought that the Civic Wagon had a lot of potential and I never saw anyone take it to the level that it could compete with the over Civics. Let me tell you that there is nothing better than to go to a car show and get the love and respect from everybody. Ive also kept up with the best of them in the road. The swap I did was a simple JDM B18 LS non Vtec. With the Type R tranny and lite flywheel it is fast and a lot of fun to drive. I learned a lot from this forum and am willing to help anyone here.
I saw a lot of requests. There were members posting picks of their cars so I posted pics of our wagons. Member: (Mugen_Stumpo) hooked me up. Send him pics of your wagon. He does it for fun. No charge.

WOW IT's must be an eye catcher when ya drive it.
Love to restore my car but that for a latter time.
How mutch has the whole project cost so far?
Estament of the car value has gone up?
Did you do some shoping around before to get the best prices?
Well it looks good Keep up the great work like to see what comes next.
Thanks. I will say its a head turner. Well Ive had the wagon for 7 years. I dont know how much Ive spent but I grew so attached to it that I just couldnt stop modyfing it. I search around the net for the best prices on certain things. I cant hate on Ebay. Ive got some stuff from there. I spent a lot but its still fun to have.
I think your car looks really good with those big-ass wheels. Even though the honda-tech "community" bashes big wheels as being outdated and ricer, if a car is really clean, it can pull off the big wheel look. Those wheels are the right color, the spokes go with the lines of the car... it all flows well, IMO.
Still, you gotta change it up sometimes... keep it fresh.

Thanks. I appreciate that. I always wanted this wheel and thought that 19's would be nice. I had them for a while and ready for a new look. I guess Im a wheel whore. I plan to go with 16's. Still undecided what wheel to get but dont worry I wont disappoint.
