lifted wagon ???

i am looking in to lifting my new wagon with integra springs and prob. some new shocks. My question is whats the biggest tire any has put on one of these? My friend has a set of 27" super swampers that are radial and for a 14 inch wheel. Do you think i could fit these not for daily driving but for off road parties etc.

i would like to see that too 8)
  • Put some fender flarers or whatever they're called on there...the things muddin trucks and jeeps have. If you don't do that it will probably look silly. If you do that too, you can probably fit bigger tires because it entails trimming the fenders.

I would suggest going to a local wheel/tire shopafter you get your struts/springs on. They'd probably be able to tell you what will fit.

but on this car is not the frame, so your car will ... how to name it... twist?
it is not real off-road, I think you (or we?) cannot use it hard terrain...

sou you'll see. I had as my previous car Suzuki Vitara (in US named also Suzuki Sidekick, Geo Tracker, etc) and I have been driven in off-road about 3000km, but if you could off-roading in Wagon, so good luck, but take some photo shots :)

i think the tires might be too big for the power the car has. meaning that the car might not have enough power to spin those big mofo tires in mud.

Even with 185/70/14 tires in deep sand there isn't enough torque to get the car going again. You really have to slip the clutch and/or dig out the sand a little bit. SuperLow gear is very useful here.

I tried fitting a 195/75/14 because it was the smallest A/T tire i could find. It was way too big.

I now run R700 kumho rally tires in a 13" size. They are worn out now and I can't find any more (tirerack doesn't carry them anymore)

Mine is stock front right now with 89 Legend front springs in the rear. Adds a little lift but mostly I can haul hundreds of pounds of stuff in the back w/o draggin' ass
