Hey new guy here lol... I hope I am in the right forum....if not let me know...:S am looking at buying a 87 wagon 4wd sl with 295000 kilomtetres on it it needs new muffler and alignment. I have no clue what this is worth so figured I would ask you guys :P. The asking price is 1000. I am not new to the Honda thing I curently own a 92 Integra GSR and if the wagon SL is as rare as I have heard it will fit right in with my GSR lol. I am looking to use it as a rally car and something to play with with. and information on value would be greatly appreciated.

how exactly does the 6 sp in the sl work is it like a 6th gear or a low range gear like in a 4x4?

    Thank for all the help guys!!!!!!!(notice sarcasm) I am sure at least one of the 10 who viewed this has an ideal.....and also why can I not view the marketplace that would help me a tonne on finding the value of these cars.......I have my new member post and more then 5 in general chat......yet still not able to see marketplace....

    Easy there, cowboy. We only see the occasional 3rd generation wagon ('84-'87) here. I know that in my experience they are relatively rare, I've never seen an RT4wd one in the flesh. Value? It's worth what you're willing to pay. 1000 doesn't seem exorbitant to me, but the rarity of parts would give me pause.

    The 6th gear is a 'granny' super low.

    o ok sorry my mistake I didn't realize that wagons were made over multiple generations and that this particular generation was that rare. I just thought it was people being lazy and looking but not answering. :S I had just figured it would be a quick easy question to answer.

    I was one of the veiwers that didn't respond. Some people(such as myself) will take notice to your post and will not post a response so they do not give any false information.

    I can totally respect that.....I just figured it was a question everyone should have some knowledge one....I didn't realize there were more then one generation of wagon...........

    But hey I may have came across as a dick but I got some responses :P
