CRX Exhaust Fitment

Hey guys,
I picked up my Wagon today and it looks like the exhaust will need replaced sooner than I thought. I will be upgrading my current stock exhaust from my CRX Si and thought I could just swap it over because it's in great shape. Thinking about it a bit more though, I'm thinking the measurements would be off and maybe some extension would be needed. I found this post http://www.hondacivicwagon.com/board/vi ... rx+exhaust
but I don't think anyone mentioned ever trying it. I just learned how to weld and will be getting a welder for my birthday so I plan on seeing what would be involved and if not too much, I'll just do it and let you guys know how it goes. I'll remove both systems and take pics of them side by side showing any differences so this info can be used incase anyone else has the same question.

Just thought I'd ask again before I dove into it. Still won't be for a month or so until I have time to do it...but I'll be sure to document so we'll know what's involved.

From the rear axle back is near identical...and the oilpan forward as far as the header goes.like you said just lengthening & location is key.4wd is trickier.
  • Thanks for the heads up. From the sound of the exhaust, I may need to work on this sooner than I thought. :?
