Salt Lake City Wago Adventures

So, I've had this wago for about 4 years, I bought it cause it was only $750 and had little damage to it like rust spots, and water pump. (I haven't seen one before and I own mostly hondas. 4wd civic wagon? WTF?!). I've been driving other cars since then, and almost sold it twice. But, I decided to embrace my inner wago and get it going. Unfortunately, the timing belt imploded lately and the valves went with it. So, it's getting another non-vtec sock put in it right now. Still debating on whether to use it for offroad or lower it for street.. Anydamnways, heres a shot of the dirty skank being dirty. No glamor pics until she gets her shit together. (Apologies for the cell piktar)

  • Oh damn! In that second pic, the 3rd car in looks like a FC3s... I'll have to get my wag looking good and stop by one. Where's the info on these meets?

Heck there are a few people if my memory serves me right. They will show up on here sooner or later.
  • the red wagon is mine, and yes a ef9 bumper it is. the 3rd car in the second pic is a supra, but the kid doesnt have it anymore, traded it for a integra, and clean wagon
  • Is phantom motorsports still in business there? I took a car there a long time ago for Hondata tuning.
  • Awesome didya know Ed Roth?
  • The owner had a sweet Turbo Yellow ITR. I dont remember his name.
  • Phantom went out of business. The guy with the type-r(s) (Mark) now co-owns a transmission shop here in the valley(does BEST transmission work). He's actually putting my replacement engine in my wagon as we speak. He had a +600hp turboed type-r. Now he's all about naturally aspirated ethanol. I think his EG hatch is at 350hp 60-75% ethanol N/A. He builds trans for courtney green aka 8-9 second red hatchback (in high elevation) and not one trans has failed. So if you need transmission or diff work, he's the one you'd go to. Nothing but quality comes out of his shop.

I actually met Ed Roth a while back at a car meet that was out in the boondocks by Price, UT. He has some killer shit.
  • Well thats too bad about his business going under, but it's good to hear he is doing well.
  • wakka wakka I just picked up an immaculate white wago

Welcome and you got the fever.
  • Thanks. Yah, I caught wagoflu. This one is better condition than my other one. 150k miles 2wd, I'll be 2nd owner. 1st owner was a grandma who bought it brand new from Honda in Cali and had all the maintainence done at Honda. It will be my summer wagon once I get my rt4wd back from the engine swap. Pics soon, it's still in its natural wagon form. 13 inch steelies?
