Help - rear speaker pods & brackets do not line up

Hello all.
I purchased some pods the other day and I have some issues with them that I was hoping someone could help clear up. I was looking them over and it looks like one of the brackets is the incorrect bracket. Also, I notice the top half of one of the pods has one of the factory mounting boss location in the wrong spot in comparison with the bottom one. This does not allow 1 of the 4 screws to be used between the top and bottom portions. This just happens to be the one that only has two bosses rather than three to mount it to the chassis.
The best I can gather is that this set is a mismatched set from other Honda's, not just a civic wagon, unless Honda changed something over the years on the rear pod design and the pods are year specific. Can anyone give me any insight on these? I have included some pics below for reference.

Thanks,
Brad

Your left lower pod is NOT a Wgn pod(that's why casing hole doesn't align).
Your right upper pod is NOT a Wgn.pod (that's why brkts don't align).
Sounds like the ,"Invasion of the Body Snatchers" goes on the "Jerry Springer Show".
 All's not lost if you don't mind.
left:Use a long *ss screw & paint over the head OR glue a spacer(or brkt)to use the lower screw slot.
right:Glue a wood(or plastic spacer or washers) to pod to use correct brkt nut.
Sorry dude. :?
 Do the above & see if the jerk you bought the pods from will give you a partial refund.
LOL(lots of Luck)
scammer!!!!!! lol j/k
thats odd...im sure you could just modify the metal bracket to make it fit ya? as for the bottom and top pod holes not lining up...im not to sure what could be done about that...
Modding the brkt would require threading or threaded pop rivet(& std. bolt). In both cases you'd still need a spacer.Easier to do a spacer w/the unmodded brkt.
Yo turbo_teg.Chill.No ones blaming you.Just work out a compromise with B-rad .If B-rad follows my suggestions maybe all is good.
I should have noted that the seller is being cool about everything and giving me options. We figured we would see what everyone thought was the cause of this.
Once again, turbo_teg is being great about it.
Thanks for everyones input.
perhaps different years had different shapes...? hmmm
