Ebay tie rods suck / Help me get my RT going before X-mas

I bought some tie rods, inner and outer, and the shop said they can't alighn the front end. They look identical to the original.

1. The inner tie rod bottomed. So I can cut off some of the threads to fix that.

2. They said they need an inch more of threads. Can I add more with a die?

    can u just run oem ones...? or other ef years... b/c if seems like everything underneath is the same...

    Also the complete upper and lower ball joint sets on ebay suc as well... its like they used cheap ass rubber on them they dry rotted out with in. 6 months

    Honda wants $206 for new inner/outer + shipping....

    Has anyone rebooted an outer tie rod?

    any local parts store sell boots but there universal so they wont fit real good.

    Well Something is amiss. I took off about a half inch of threads and now there is plenty of adjustment. Yeah even the original OEM bottom out too early so something fishy is going on somewhere. Maybe the control arm? Visually looks strait but maybe it's not. Going to have my wife hold the tape measure for me so we can see if things are straight. Anyone know how to do this?

    Anyhow I will get it alighted professionally tomorrow and then to replace those rear diff bushings.

    Yeah it worked. Car is strait. Just cut off 1/2" of threads.
