Hey guys my name is Austin I'm 19 years old and am from Dickinson, ND (ya i know funny name). Right now I am going to college in Rapid City, SD for mechanical engineering. I currently have a 1991 Prelude Si 4WS with a bunch of goodies. The reason I joined this site is because I really really want a wagovan and am definitely going to get one soon, but I am having trouble finding anything. Here is my lame story on how I missed out on a great sale. Sorry for all the reading in advance
My family own a Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha motorcycle, atv dealership in my hometown. The guy that lived across the street basically had a collection of cars he was gonna fix. He had 3 wagons all carb'd and 2 were AWD but none ran. They never moved and at least once a month i would ask if he was willing to sell, no luck. Then one day the cops came by and slapped stickers on the windows of all his cars like maybe 20 vehicles at $20 a piece. So when he was outside I went up and asked him again if he was willing to sell, still no go. A couple days pass he took away like 10 of his cars but the wagons were still there. I struck a conversation with him again and still not willing to sell. The next day a flat bed pulls up takes away all 3 wagons and i ask him what he is doing with them. He sold them to some kid for $300, ALL 3 OF THEM FOR $300. I'm pissed get the kids phone number he already sold 2 of them for $600 a piece and kept the last one. I would have gladly bought one for $600 and I end up empty handed.
