I've had quite a few offers on mine in weird locations as well. People just love the wagons.

That they do, I allways get offers on my rt.
  • ya its funny because its not usually the jdm kids asking its older family looking guys. plus you cant beat the honda mpg.
  • I've never had that happen, but I am not really in Hondalover territory. If someone did offer my response would be "yeah, if the price is right".

yeah more older tuner dads ask me instead of the jdm kids. :D

It seems like I get hit up just about every time I stop for gas by all ages. Males and females or at least a comment.

I guess I get looked at by the younger kids and they think look at that old dude driving that wagon. lol

Yah.Every so often Someone wants to buy.Just a little while back this cute woman had her BF ask if I wanted to sell it.

I think what peeps are seeing subconsciously is the first gen CRV.The prob of the Wagon was it was ahead of it's time. Now that mini SUVs & wagons are in favor again.Peeps notice the Honda Civic Wagon. The Fits(Jazz) is selling like hot cakes.Germans have always liked wagons.
  • I always had people approaching me about the CRX, and I don't think that will change with the Wagovan.

I brought my Wagonvan home around 11PM the night I bought it, and 9AM the next morning my garbage man asked if I'd like to sell it. I convinced him to buy the CRX instead!
  • Oh, did you buy the non RT wagon you showed me the link to?
  • I'm always that weird guy asking to buy the wagons... :-) but its ok because people always ask to buy my Civic and my del Sol. of course, it's always the JDM tuner kids. I like the wagon because its a little more... subtle.

Exactly. Although you can rice them out just like any other Honda if you really want to. It will be years (if at all) before that catches on here though.

No, that one turned out to be pretty nasty and way too expensive. I bought an '88 Wagovan with a rebuilt engine, trans, suspension, and steering for a hell of a lot less. It's got a little A-pillar rust issue to work out and is missing some interior parts but it's a solid ride.

I'm fixing it up to sell it and hopefully still buy yours. I probably should have just bought yours in the first place. I thought I'd be satisfied with this because it was cheaper, mostly rebuilt, and a lot closer. I guess I'm just hung up on owning red RT so this one isn't doing it for me.

I have a buddy that realy wants mine simply because he knows it doesnt have a motor in it and he has a nice stock z6 that would go nicely in it but he wants to pay like $300....... odviously not gunna do that but he asked me the other day to whatch for a cheap RT with a blown motor...... yeah right i paid $1000 for my RT wagon with a rod knock it has some rust but the rest of the car more than made up for it especially with the minty LS webs. Back in the day when i had my gold wagon in my avatar people never wanted to buy it so much as i heard "ive always wanted to turbo a 4wd wagon" i can say i was rockin a wagon way before they became as popular as they are now.

The next morning after I bought mine I was under the hood cleaning off the terminals when some random lady walking by commented on what a nice car it is & how Hondas are so great. Then casually threw in "if you're ever looking to sell it, I live in that house.", pointing to her house down the street. As if!
Then my b/f's barber was talking about how he had one and it was such a good car & how he never should have gotten rid of it. When my b/f told him him how much I picked it up for, he was blown away & said well, I'll buy it from you when don't want it anymore.

Well if you decide to buy mine, I am in the process of replacing all the seats. They are blue and don't match, but they are way less stained and has way less holes than my old interior.
  • i have been one of these people that ask haha
