if your not wanting to spend the money on HID's (even though they are only like $55 these days) a cheap lil upgrade I have done in the past is put 9005 bulbs(your high beam bulbs) into your low beams. the problem you run into is that there is a little tab on the 9005 bulb that u need to widdle off or next time your in a junk yard get yerself some high beam plugs from any EF and wire them into your low beams. I used to do this back in the day when HIDs were like $200 and they worked realy well. they are brighter because there is no paint on the tip of the bulb.

The new bulb number might be HIR 9011 or HIR 9012.These bulbs were recommended by Davens .I've bought only one bulb.THese are bright .It's been in for over 3years with no probs.A guy sells them on Ebay.Disclaimer:I get NO $$$$ from the Ebayer bulb seller, Phillips or Toshiba.
The 9005's burn out TOO fast. It's only 1/4 of the bulb life of the 9006's.

Care to share what you did to make them work? I'm sure a few members would be thankful. I'm interested in seeing the mod myself.
